Just a quick update to kinda answer ALL of the emails we have gotten about the Anodized Aluminum Jazzmaster Guards. We are almost there! Very soon, ANOTONE will only be offering the Standard AVRI Jazzmaster 13-hole pickguard, cut from T6 6061 Aerospace Aluminum, with custom color anodizing. We will be following that up with the 9-hole cut, and then hopefully there will be an option for custom cuts along the way (though that is still TBD). These parts will retail for $95.00, and each order will take up to ten days to make (depending on color selection). Here is a picture of a protoype with a sweet, cool-blue 80s filter that we are a sucker for:

Temporary pictures are up in our store (hi-def photographs coming soon). We are currently selling the pickup covers as singles for $10.00USD a piece. In the future, we are planning on offering them in sets of two, three, and four for a discounted rate. Hola! So we struck a deal with a supplier of ours, and we are now able to offer our aluminum pickguards at a more affordable rate! The Stratocaster and Telecaster Aluminum Pickguard models will be available for $32.95USD and $29.95USD respectively. We are almost done photographing our Aluminum Single Coil Pickup Covers and Telecaster Knob Kits, and they will be available for purchase in the next two weeks. Stay tuned!
So a few weeks ago I told you that I made a pretty gnarly slide out of some scrap tubing that I had laying around the shop. It was such a success that I took a shot at making a few more - all different sizes and different colors. I made some tubing, cut it down to size, de-burred it, and hand-polished it to a mirror finish. We bright dipped anodized the prototypes a few different colors (see below). These things are filthy and will definitely be for sale soon on ANOTONE.COM:
Messin' around in the shop today when I realized I had recently misplaced my Anodized Aluminum Fender Guitar Slide. I decided to make this bad boy. I'm not sure what the alloy is - I cut it out of some scrap tubing and deburred it on a polishing wheel. Check out that purple to black fade! BADASS!
New product for ANOTONE? I think so:
